Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Eastern Plating maintains two buildings totaling 21,000 square feet on 2 acres of land. Our plant includes both automated and manual processing lines and our warehouse provides customer part storage and expansion capability.
Eastern Plating was founded in 1966 and purchased by the Castor family in 1973. Specializing in aluminum anodizing services, Eastern Plating has developed a proven reputation based on high quality standards and strong customer collaboration. With more than 85 years’ combined leadership experience, we are proud to have established trusted relationships with companies such as Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Harris, Amphenol, General Dynamics, Raytheon and many others.
Michael Castor, President & General Manager
Michael has led Eastern Plating since 1990 and is responsible for operational oversight, process improvement and strategic growth planning. Michael is the past president and a current board member of the IHAA (International Hard Anodizing Association).
Karen Keffer, Assistant General Manager
Karen has more than 40 years of experience working with Eastern Plating. She is responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, pricing and quotation and management of Eastern’s masking teams.
Neil Mezebish, Director of Business Development
Neil joined Eastern Plating in the summer of 2019. As Director of Business Development, Neil is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, helping to ensure customer satisfaction, ongoing process improvement and staff/resource development.
Ed Gavalla, Production Manager
Ed has been with Eastern Plating since 2016 and is responsible for managing plant production and productivity. Ed oversees the production team resources and ensures that quality and delivery requirements are met.
Edward McCray, Quality Manager
Edward has served as Eastern’s Quality Manager since 2007. His primary responsibilities are to ensure compliance with all quality systems and requirements throughout the processing cycle.
